With a degree in accessories design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in hand, Bindya Lulla launched Bindya New York in 1997 with a collection of handbags and quickly expanded her business to include pashminas. Master of beading and embroidery, Deepa Gurnani honed her talents in the fashion houses of Alexander McQueen, Emanual Ungaro, and Fendi. Arm in arm with her husband, jewelry business entrepreneur, Jay Lakhani, they launched Deepa Gurnani hair accessories in 2006. When a stranger offered to buy one of her handmade bracelets right off of her wrist, designer Caramia Visick knew the time was right to launch a jewelry line, and Hotcakes Design was born. The process of creating her unique collection of carved bangles begins with sketches which are then hand-cast into one-of-a-kind molds. With a vintage-Bakelite "clink", the result is chunky bangles that are fabulous for stacking and wearable every day of the week.

In 2004, from oceans apart, sisters-in-law Radhika and Gauri Tandon collaborated and began the phenomenon known as Isharya - a contemporary jewelry line that combines west coast cool with Bollywood glamour. Season after season, this San Francisco and Mumbai based designer duo produces captivatingly beautiful handcrafted baubles infused with gorgeous color, natural stones, and 18-karat gold plating. Isharya has an international following thanks to their seamless way of blending Indian royalty inspired designs with the international Art Nouveau style of the 20th century. What started as a casual interest and hobby quickly flourished into a successful career for designer Kevia Jeffrey-West. Her namesake jewelry line is best known for its signature 22-karat gold vermeil which envelopes a wide array of precious and semi-precious gemstones that are handcrafted into exquisite earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. Her jewelry line is presented in inspirational collections, and there's a story behind each one. Lulu designs was created by designer Stacy King, whose background in ceramics led her to begin designing jewelry. Drawing inspiration from nature, architecture, textiles, and her family, King began creating jewelry that represents the beauty of both the natural and human elements she sees around her. The combination of beads, gemstones, and precious metals in her collection of earrings and necklaces makes all of the pieces small works of wearable art.

Featuring intricate beading and embroidery, each piece in designer Moyna Singh’s line is handcrafted by artisans in India. Singh became familiar with Asian beading and design nearly 25 years ago, when she worked with home goods designers and manufacturers in India. Today, her line of handbags features traditional beading and embroidery techniques on everything from elegant, luxurious evening bags to fun, flirty daytime clutches. Her use of natural materials—raw silk, mother of pearl, even seashells—makes her unique pieces really stand out. Inspired by the designs of Asia and the Middle East, husband-and-wife team Robert and Robindira Unsworth launched their jewelry line in the fall of 2001. Launched in April 2009, Shashi’s line of bracelets is designed by Yuvi Alpert and Danna Kobo, the same team behind fine jewelry line Ruby Kobo designs. The duo designed a line of bracelets that are easy to mix and match and durable enough that once you tie them on, you’ll never have to take them off. Like an updated version of the childhood friendship bracelet, the pieces feature vibrant knotted threads lined with a single or double row of sparkling crystals set in gold.

New York bridal jewelry designer Urvi Prunier brings her line of colorful handcrafted jewelry exclusively to Pink & Paisley. After many years of working in sales and merchandising for fashion houses like Chanel and YSL, Tejani designer Urvi Prunier decided to return to her first passion—jewelry. Her love of jewelry combined with inspiration from her Indian background led her to create Tejani. The name, which is a derivation of her family name, means “brightness” or “sparkle,” and Prunier has created a line exclusively for Pink & Paisley that certainly lives up to that moniker. Each piece is handcrafted in Mumbai, India, to showcase bright, colorful semiprecious stones for looks that range from stylish and contemporary to timeless and classic..
